Carlee fell in love with travel in her 20s while exploring Europe, where she embraced the freedom, independence, and adventure of new experiences. Immersing herself in different cultures gave her a deeper appreciation for the world and its diverse perspectives. After working and living in a handful of gorgeous resort locales, from the Virgin Islands to Lake Tahoe, she settled in San Diego to raise a family. Now, as a travel advisor, she loves helping others create unforgettable journeys that spark curiosity and joy. Carlee's passion is to inspire her clients to explore, connect and fully experience the wonder of travel.

MY LUXURY IS:

Traveling to places so remote, there is no signal. The freedom to fully unplug and be present with my loved ones is what travel is all about.

MY FAVORITE ADVENTURE SPOT IS: 

Take me to the mountains! I love the smell, the crisp clean air, the bold colors, and the adventurous spirit of everyone who visits. Mount Rainier, Lake Tahoe, and Switzerland are a few of my faves.

WHY I LOVE TRAVEL: 

I love to see how the rest of the world lives. I believe it's so necessary to get outside of our bubble, so that we can expand our perspectives and live in gratitude. I also crave that jaw-dropping, heart-bursting, bring-me-to-tears kind of joy I experience when I see something so beautiful that it leaves me speechless. That's where the magic is!​

MY OTHER LOVES: 

In my everyday life, I love to spend my time at the beach, hiking the local trails, doing yoga, seeing live music and watching my kids play sports. And cheering on the San Diego Padres!.​

MY TRAVEL PHILOSOPHY:

Be spontaneous! Carve out a day or two to just set out on foot and see where the day takes you.  Immerse yourself in the local culture, be open to new experiences, start conversations with strangers...these "yes days" are some of my most cherished travel memories! ​

MY BEST TRAVEL ADVICE:

Be kind.  No matter where you travel, don't forget that you are the visitor.  Your experience will be so much more fulfilling if you can practice patience, be respectful, and remain curious.​
