Courtney's love for travel began with childhood adventures across Europe and the United States, thanks to her parents’ dedication to discovery. But it was her 2012  journey through South America that truly lit the spark. Now, she shares that joy with her own young daughters, who are already well-versed in the fine art of hotel hopping and cultural curiosity.

MY KIND OF LUXURY IS:

Somewhere remote, serene, and steeped in a sense of place—where luxury is woven into nature and culture. Imagine Bhutan’s spiritual calm, Patagonia’s wild edges, Ireland’s rolling green hills, and Montana’s majestic stillness.

MY FAVORITE ADVENTURE SPOT IS: 

Patagonia— I was completely taken by this vast land, which is simultaneously peaceful and powerful. Some of my favorite travel memories include galloping through the fields with gauchos, hiking to Las Torres and enjoying fine dining at Awasi.  I will no doubt go back for more.​

WHY I LOVE TRAVEL: 

Travel has helped me grow tremendously.  It reveals the world and reflects who I am. With every trip, I become more patient, more open, and more connected. And let’s be honest: the stories are pretty good too.

OTHER PASSIONS: 

From yoga and hiking to savoring local food, I find joy in local pleasures in the Bay Area, CA. But most of my focus goes to my husband, our two adventurous daughters, and our sweet pup. Sharing the wonders of travel with my girls is one of life’s greatest privileges.​

MY TRAVEL PHILOSOPHY:

Think about what you want - a comfortable experience to bring you back to yourself, or a challenging experience to push your boundaries and discover what you’re capable of.  Be patient, and always be kind to others.​

MY BEST TRAVEL ADVICE:

Pack light—physically and mentally. Leave room for the unexpected, the delightful, and yes, the souvenirs.​

MY TRAVEL HAPPY SPACE IS: 

Anywhere my daughters are giggling and engaged. That’s the kind of magic you can’t bottle, but you can plan for.
