Travel positively impacts Gina Pariani’s life, as it likewise does for her two lifelong friends, Courtney Regan and Maybritt Haeling. Gina was fortunate to travel regularly with her family as a child, so when she was given the opportunity to study abroad in college through the Semester at Sea program, visiting 10 countries in 100 days, she jumped at the opportunity. This experience cemented her love of travel and her desire to immerse herself in various cultures to better understand others’ way of life.

MY LUXURY IS:

Having the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with loved ones, in particular through travel, away from our daily routine. Moreover, I appreciate experiencing unique properties that showcase the native elements of the location.​

MY FAVORITE ADVENTURE SPOT IS: 

New Zealand! This majestic country is a haven for nature lovers, offering adventures from glacier heli-hikes to kayaking and beyond. With its stunning views, beautiful landscapes, and rich culture, New Zealand should be on everyone’s bucket list.

WHY I LOVE TRAVEL: 

Travel opens the doors to endless possibilities. You can make a vacation whatever you wish for it to be, whether you desire complete relaxation or an exhilarating adventure. I love that even when I return to a destination, no two trips are ever the same.​

MY OTHER LOVES: 

When I am home in Oakland, California, I enjoy gardening, cooking, hiking, volunteering, and basking in beautiful sunsets.​

MY TRAVEL PHILOSOPHY:

Go out and talk to people. The best way to learn about and experience a destination is by engaging with the locals who are the true experts. And trying local delicacies is a must! ​
